Nepali Himalayas has always been the most superlative choice when it comes to mountaineering and expedition. Nepal is resplendent with numerous peaks above 5,500. Among fourteen eight-thousander peaks, Nepal houses 8 of them.
It has challenged minds and bodies of those who have dared to conquer these mountains for years.
Among the identified 1,310 peaks above 6,000 meters, one quarter are officially open for mountaineering activities. The list includes the smaller ‘trekking peaks'. Climbing these peaks is the one step beyond trekking, before scaling the 8000-meter peaks.
