    My best Trek!

Thank you Oriental Journeys, Machhindra and Aneel for managing great trip for us. We are very lucky in a way that we did not research about the package and picked this trek that is friendly with our budget. The trek far exceeded our expectations! Everything was going very smoothly. I really loved when I was in Kala Pathar. It's really stunning place. The flight are all time scenic from Kala Pathar to Lukla. I would definately recommend Oriental Journeys !

    Amazing Trek to EBC

Really a Fantastic trek in the Everest base camp. I and my husband was overwhelmed by the scenery on the planet. During the trek, we stayed in the teahouse lodge and also observe the beautiful Sherpa culture and their great hospitality. Our guide did everything possible to get us to EBC and back in reduced time after our flight to Lukla had been delayed by the couple of days. We enjoyed a lot when we get back to Lukla via helicopter with a beautiful  scene of the Himalayas. Even the operator Machhindra did frequent contact with us when we were stocked in Lukla. He is very kind and gentle. We definitely recommend Oriental Journeys for their professional services and will plan to come back Nepal with same operator.

Gorakshyap - Everest Base Camp Trekking

The golden rays of the sun will greet you as you begin your day over the mountains. With the rising sun’s rays, both the valley and the Himalayas glow golden. Despite the fact that the path is hazy owing to the fog, we don’t get lost thanks to the competent Sherpas’ direction. Our trip gets increasingly strenuous as a result of the windy weather and thin air. Our tenacity and determination to attain EBC, on the other hand, motivate us to keep going. The Khumbu Glacier, which stretches for 2.5 kilometers, is a sight to behold on the road to EBC. You will reach Gorak Shep, where you may stop for a bit, as you travel beside the Khumbu Glacier. The small community and a modest number of lodges extend a warm welcome to all visitors.

After a brief break at Gorak Shep, we will resume our climb. You will reach Everest base camp if you carry trekking down the Khumbu Glacier. The vast landscape of the magnificent mountains, as well as the colorful camps, are worthy of photographic capture. Furthermore, the contrast between the colors of the camp and the grey soil of the region will astound you. You may photograph the Everest base camp’s awe-inspiring moments.

After wandering around the base camp, we’re on our way back to Gorak Shep.

    Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

    10

Day 10:Trek to Kala Patthar (5545m) for sunrise view and flyback to Lukla by Helicopter

Kalapatthar - Everest Base Camp Trekking
Kalapatthar – Everest Base Camp Trekking. Photo: Aneel Mahat

We’ll be on our walk today, despite the bitter cold and brisk wind. We’ll hike to Black Rock, commonly known as Kala Patthar. Everyone can hike up to Kalapatthar, although the route is difficult. Additionally, we must acclimate to the Kala Patthar’s weather, since the air grows thinner as we ascend. The clear view of Mount Everest and other peaks like Lingtren, Khubutse, Lhotse, and Nuptse adds to Kala Patthar’s allure. You are rewarded with a wonderful view of the dawn and mountain peaks, in addition to the strenuous trip. You may take photographs of the beautiful scenery.

We’ll return to Gorak Shep after your walk up to Kala Patthar. From here, we’ll take a helicopter to Lukla. You’ll be floating over the sky above the mountains, seeing all the flashbacks from your voyage below you. Furthermore, from the air, you will be able to see the routes you hiked, the exhausting journey, glacial rivers, and your wonderful recollections of the Everest base camp.

    11

Day 11: Fly back to Ramechhap and drive to Kathmandu

We’ll fly back to Ramechhap’s Manthali Airport after breakfast, as usual. Then, from Ramechhap, we’ll catch a bus back to Kathmandu. After a long and exhausting travel, you may relax. Day 12 : Fly back home

Day 10:Trek to Kala Patthar (5545m) for sunrise view and flyback to Lukla by Helicopter

Kalapatthar - Everest Base Camp Trekking

You might use the remaining time to take a short excursion to a nearby location in Kathmandu and buy a Nepalese souvenir for your buddy.

    Meals: Breakfast

Day 12 : Fly back home

Today is a day of farewell. You’ll say your goodbyes to Nepal and return to your hometown. Tribhuvan International Airport is where you will board your journey. One of our staff will drive you to the airport two hours before your trip.
