Getting to the trailhead

I along with my husband and two children chose Annapurna sunrise view trek with Oriental Journeys. Trekking in the Annapurna foothills is really amazing with beautiful scenery of the Himalayas. We wake up early in the morning to the process of the sun coming out and it’s really mind-blowing. My children enjoyed a lot and they were more informed about the more Himalayas and the lifestyle. Our guide is very informative and friendly. He loves and cares a lot. We really love this trek and will come for the next trip to Nepal with Oriental Journeys again.

I was really interested in trekking but I was already in my 50s. However, I along with my husband decided to do the trek in the Nepal Himalayas. Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

You are welcome at Tribhuwan International Airport of Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel by our company representative. After having some rest, we will provide you the details about the trekking and tour plan. Overnight stay at Kathamndu.

Our well trained professional trekking guide accompanies you throughout the trek. We advise you to information regarding your health status frequently to the guide during the trek.  Depending upon the seriousness of your illness, we will provide emergency medical treatment and if not working, we will rescue you immediately.

What kind of weather can I expect during this trek?

The weather is often windy in Poon Hill, therefore, we advise the travelers to carry warm clothes. Poon Hill is cool and frequently gets snowfall during winter and early spring days. However, The Ghorepani Poon Hill is an all-season destination and an easy low altitude trek.

I along with my husband and two children chose Annapurna sunrise view trek with Oriental Journeys. Trekking in the Annapurna foothills is really amazing with beautiful scenery of the Himalayas. We wake up early in the morning to the process of the sun coming out and it’s really mind-blowing. My children enjoyed a lot and they were more informed about the more Himalayas and the lifestyle. Our guide is very informative and friendly. He loves and cares a lot. We really love this trek and will come for the next trip to Nepal with Oriental Journeys again.

I was really interested in trekking but I was already in my 50s. However, I along with my husband decided to do the trek in the Nepal Himalayas. We researched many trekking companies and luckily found Oriental Journeys very informative and responsive. Machhindra helps a lot during the planning phase and recommend Annapurna sunrise view trek since it is our first-time trek to Nepal. The guide is very informative and caring. He has helped us all the way like what should we eat, how can we walk safely so forth and so on. We got a beautiful opportunity to see the Annapurna foothills and the sunrise view.
