You have to drive along the Pasang Lhamu Highway from Kathmandu to Syabrubensi. The road was black taped once but a few sections are rough due to ongoing construction works. Daily, the local bus departs from Kathmandu for Syabrubensi. The bus fare may cost you from $10 to $12 based on the standard. The local bus carries the local people but does not provide comfortable seats. They even pick up the local passengers on the way. Instead of the local bus, the local jeep is also available on a sharing basis. It cost about USD(12 to 14)  per person. Both the local coach and the local jeep depart from the same place Machhapokhara in Kathmandu. The departure schedule of the local vehicles is around 6:30 to 9:00 am.

    Day 1: Drive from Kathmandu (1,400m) to Syabru Besi (1,550m) – 7 to 8 hours

A gradual ascent begins after the Dovan, then follows the Langtang Khola. Have your lunch at Bamboo. The temporary settlement of Bamboo has some teahouse lodges that provide meals and lodging. Continue the pleasant hiking through the woods. You may frequently spot the langur monkeys, deers, and Ghoral. After crossing the suspension bridge, the trail goes steep and slightly strenuous through the forest up to Lama Hotel.

    Day 3: Trek from Lama Hotel (2,380m) to Mundu (3,430m) via Langtang Village – 6 to 7 hours

    On the second day of the trek, you will be walking most of the part inside the forest, spot the waterfalls and capture the occasional glimpses of Langtang Lirung. The tree line almost finishes at Ghoda Tabela. The trail emerges out into the wider glacier valley from woodlands into the lush green meadow. The snow-capped peaks keep on bordering on either side of the valley.
    The trail continues the gentle ascent, cross few settlements. Witness the remains of the devastating Mega Earthquake of 2015 that covered the entire village of Langtang. Remember the deceased locals, security people, and tourists in front of the memorial wall. Langtang village was once a vibrant settlement with plenty of teahouses and lodges. Mundu is a small village, only half an hour away from Langtang village.

    Day 4: Trek from Mundu (3,430m) to Kyanjin Gompa (3,870m) – 3 hours

    Begin your trek after breakfast, cross through the pasture, mani walls, water mills, Chortens, and sacred mounds of rocks with carved inscriptions. Capture the valley down with your wide vision from the vast pasture. The extensive mountain view, patches of farms, and waterfalls are amazing to see from here.

    Cross small steams and a suspension bridge before getting to Kyanjin Gompa by lunchtime. After lunch hike to Kyanjin Ri or Langshisha Kharka for incredible views. Visiting the centuries-old monastery and cheese factory is worthwhile.

    Retrace your trail back to Lama Hotel from Kyanjin Gompa back to Lama Hotel. The trail is mostly gradual downhill throughout the day. Walking steadily and slowly helps to protect your knees. Arrive at the Lama hotel and enjoy your evening.

    Retrace the same route to Syabru from Rimche or Choose the trail via Sherpa Goan for a scenic trail. Relatively the trail via Sherpa Goan is longer but offers a spectacular view with the little ascent. The final part of the trail descends verticle from Khamjim to Syabrubensi.
