Getting to Pokhara
There are regularly scheduled flights several times a day from Kathmandu to Pokhara. It costs up to US$120 for a one-way flight between Kathmandu and Pokhara. It is 25 minute’s flight from Tribhuvan International Airport Domestic Terminal to Pokhara Airport.
Besides, that tourist coach departs from Shorakhutte Tourist Bus stand for Pokhara. The bus has a schedule to depart at 7:00 am and reaches Pokhara in the next 6-7 hours. However, it may take longer depending on traffic on the highway. They will have two pauses on the way for breakfast and lunch. It costs US$10-US30 for a bus ticket depending on the standard of the Tourist Coach.
Alternatively, you can choose to hire a private vehicle to get to Pokhara. Hire a car or van depending on your group size. The cost of a Private vehicle/car from Kathmandu to Pokhara ranges from USD130 to USD 150. A car is 3 seater and a jeep can accommodate 5 people for a comfortable journey.
