The literal meaning of Annapurna is ‘Full of Grains’ and it is translated as ‘Goddess of Harvests’ in common understanding. In addition to this, Hindu Mythology defines the word ‘Annapurna’ as a goddess of fertility and agriculture and even it is called an incarnation of Goddess Durga.
Annapurna I (7,200m), Annapurna II (8,091m), Annapurna III (7,937m), Annapurna IV(7,555m) and Gangapurna (7455m) and Annapurna South (7,219).
