Overview of Island Peak Climbing

The foremost popular trekking peak, Island Peak is one of the major attractions in the Khumbu region of Nepal. Imja Tse is another name for the peak. Many adventure lovers from around the world climb the peak with an extension of Everest Base Camp Trekking. You can see the peak as a separate island from Dingboche. Besides climbing the peak, one can observe the spectacular scenery of the Himalayas within the Everest region while ascending the peak.
