Overview of Mt. Everest Expedition
The Mt. Everest Expedition is an ultimate dream for any mountaineer. Being the highest of the planet identification; the mountain has become the target of the various travel seekers from and round the world.
Mt. Everest is the highest mountain within the world with an elevation of 8848m. It lies within the Khumbu region on the northern border with Tibet. And it also cascades on Sagarmatha park.
The commercial Mt. Everest Expedition was started only after the mountain was first ascended by Hillary and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa on 29th May 1953 at 9:30 am on a sunny morning. Mt. Everest Expedition starts with a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. The Everest trek begins from Lukla Bazaar and therefore the trail takes us towards different local settlements. Another famous place s Namche Bazaar.

Namche Bazaar is a popular gateway to Everest /Khumbu region. Namche bazaar leads towards the Thyangboche monastery. Therefore, this route is even popular for the Everest Base Camp Trek. It has two main routes for the expedition. The southeast ridge from Nepal and the northeast ridge from Tibet are the most climbing routes of Everest.
However, among the 2, the southeast trekking ridge is technically easier and therefore the route has been constantly employed by the climbers. Likewise, this is often an equivalent route that was employed by the primary climbers of this expedition.

Altogether, around 400 climbers successfully climbed Mt. Everest. During the expedition, five people lost their lives during the Mt. Everest Expedition and around 600 people backed out either from base camp or high camps. no matter countless failures.
