Baraha Kshetra Pilgrimage Tour offers you a chance to visit one of the holy pilgrimage sites of Nepal. Since it is located in the remote area, very few tourists visit this pilgrimage sites. It locates 20 km away from Dharan in Eastern Nepal on the confluence of the Sapta Koshi and Koka river. Since the site dedicates to the Hindu God Vishnu, people worship Lord Bishnu in the temple.     Baraha Kshetra Pilgrimage Tour - Detail Itinerary

    Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu

    The representative of Oriental Journeys will warmly welcome you in the Tribhuvan International Airport of Kathmandu and transfer you to the hotel. After taking some rest, we will brief you about the tour plans. Overnight stay at the hotel in Kathmandu.

    Day 02 : Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley

    This tour package takes you to the very famous Hindu Pilgrimage sites of Nepal – Pashupatinath. Along with this, you will visit the UNESCO listed World Heritage sites of Kathmandu valley including Boudhanath, Swayambhunath, Kathmandu Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square. Overnight stay at the hotel in Kathmandu.

    Day 03 : Drive from Dharan to Baraha Kshetra

    There is an option for travelling via airways or drive via bus. When you choose the bus, it takes 10 to 12 hours to reach Dharan whereas the flight takes you to Biratnagar within 35 minutes. However, you need to drive again to reach Dharan. The bus drive offers you very scenic hills and remote areas of Nepal. Overnight stay at Dharan.

    Drive from Dharan to Baraha Kshetra

    In the early morning, we drive from Dharan to Baraha Kshetra which is 214 m far way from Dharan city. Baraha Ksetra lies at the confluence of two holy rivers – Saptakoshi and Kokaha. But the temple locates on the left bank of Koshi River. We will find two storeys temple which is called Baraha Kshetra temple, where we found the image of “Barah”, the incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Every year, there is a big fair in the month of October. After visiting Baraha Kshetra pilgrimage sites, we will back to Dharan and overnight stay at Dharan.

    Day 05 : Drive back to Kathmandu from Dharan

    After having brekafast, we will drive back to Kathmandu. Although this is a long drive, and you have tiresome journeys, the offering scenes, natural beauties and topography makes you energizes during your drive. Overnight stay at kathmandu.

    Day 06 : Fly back home

    The Barah Kshetra Pilgrimage tour ends with an incredible journey and good memory of the sites. The representative of Oriental Journeys will transfer you to the hotel before 3 hours of your scheduled flight. We will take you for the shopping if time permits and if you are interested.
