The 15 Days Mohare Danda Trek is one of the classic treks in Nepal. It combines the visit to Mohare Danda and trekking to Annapurna Base Camp.     Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu

    Today, you will arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu (1300m/4,264ft) and transfer to you to the hotel. Once you check in a hotel, Meet your guide, Oriental Journeys will brief you about your trip to Mahare Danda Trek. Overnight stay at Hotel Thamel, Samsara resort, or similar standard in Kathmandu. In the evening, Oriental Journeys will take you for dinner in a typical Nepali restaurant.

    Day 02 : Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (9,50m/3,116ft) 6 to 7 hours.

    Today, we will be driving to Pokhara in the morning after having breakfast. During the journey, you will be seeing the lifestyle of the rural villages. It further offers green hills, rivers, farms, and beautiful scenery. Overnight stay at a 3 Star hotel in Pokhara.

    Day 03 : Drive from Pokhara to Ghumaune Tal via Beni than Trek to Bas-Kharka (1,525m/5,002ft) 3 to 4 hours.

    Today, you will be driving from Pokhara to Ghumaune Tal with beautiful mountain sceneries, Hills, rivers, farms, and villages. After reaching Ghumaune Tal, the trail goes to Jomsom and Muktinath. After having lunch, the trail leads to cross a suspension bridge over the Kaligandaki River to Bas Kharka. You will have to climb a steep trail on a rock. Overnight stay at community Lodge in Bas Kharka.

    Day 04 : Trek from Bas Kharka to Nagi (2,300m) 5 to 6 hours

    The trek takes you through the large Pun Magar Settlement. Here, you will have a chance to explore Magar culture, organic farms, villages, and schools. Overnight stay at Nagi.

    Day 05 : Trek from Nagi to Mohare Danda (3,300m) 6 to 7 hours

    Today, the trail goes up through the forest of Oaks, Bamboo, and  Rhododendrons to Mohare Danda. Mohare Danda is a beautiful place that offers the most amazing Annapurna Range of Mt. Dhaulagiri. Mt. Dhaulagiri is the 7th highest mountain in the world and it locates in the Annapurna region. Overnight stay at Lodge, guest house, or hotel in Mahare Danda.

    Day 06 : Trek from Mohare Danda to Ghorepani (2,840m/9,315ft) 3 to 4 hours.

    Today, we will be going to Mohare Danda and Ghorepani. The trail leads us towards the Rhododendron forest and surrounded the Himalayas with magnificent views. After crossing this rhododendron forest, we will be checking into the Lodge of Ghorepani. You can walk around the small market town in Ghorepani. Overnight stay at Lodge or guesthouse in Ghorepani.

    Day 07 : Early morning Hike to Poon Hill (3,210m/10,529ft) 1 hour and trek to Chule (2,520m/8,266ft) 5 to 6 hours.

    Today, you will be hiking to the most pleasant place in the early morning i.e Poonhill. Poonhill is a beautiful place to see the amazing sunrise and spectacular views of the Annapurna range and wonderful panoramic views of the 7th highest mountain in the world i.e. Mt. Dhaulagiri. After this, we will trek from Ghorepani to Chule via Tadapani. Overnight stay at Lodge or guesthouse in Chule.

    Day 08 : Trek from Chule to Bamboo (2,335m/7,590ft) 6 to 7 hours.

    Today, we will start the trekking early morning after having breakfast. The trail leads flight steps down to Gurjung Khola and stone steps to Chhomrong Khola. Then we will also get the wooded slopes of the Himalayas and a suspension bridge with a thick bamboo forest. Overnight stay at hotel/lodge/guest house in Bamboo.

    Day 09 : Trek from Bamboo to Deurali (3,200m/10,496ft) 5 hours.

    After having breakfast in the morning, we will follow ascend upwards along the river through oak, rhododendron, and thick bamboo forest. Overnight stay at hotel/lodge/guest house in Deurali

    Day 10 : Trek from Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m/13,547ft) 5 to 6 hours.

    Deurali is a beautiful remote village in the Annapurna region. The trail from Deurali takes you to Annapurna Base Camp. Here, you will enjoy the magnificent views of the mountains while trekking to Annapurna base camp from Machhapuchhre base camp (3700m/12,136ft). Besides this, you will get the amazing sunset and sunrise view from the base camp.

    Day 11 : Trek from Annapurna Base Camp to Dovan (2,505m/8,217ft) 5 hours.

    It is a pleasant day for observing the magnificent sunrise view over the Himalayas from the Annapurna base camp. After catching this mesmerizing view of mountains, we will trek down to Dovan. Overnight stay at Lodge/guest house/hotel in Dovan.

    Day 12 : Trek from Dovan to Jinu Danda (1,610m/5,281ft) 5 to 6 hours.

    We will start our trek early in the morning from Dovan heading towards Jhinu danda. This trail provides you an unforgettable life stone steps in Chhomrong village. Overnight stay at Hotel/lodge/guest house in Jhinu Danda.

    Day 13 : Trek from Jinu Danda to Siwui 3 hours and Drive to Pokhara

    We will trek from Jhinu Danda to  Siwui in the morning. Once you reached Siwui, we will Drive back to Pokhara. After 2 hours and we will check to the Hotel and explore Pokhara valley. Overnight stay at a 3-star hotel in Pokhara.

    Day : Drive to Kathmandu

    After having breakfast in the morning, we will be driving back to Kathmandu from Pokhara. The distance between Pokhara and Kathmandu is 200km and you will be reaching Kathmandu after 6 to 7 hours of drive. The driving journey will take you through Prithvi highway road where you will be passing terraces, streams, rivers, local settlements, hills along with Marshyangdi and Trisuli river on the way back. Overnight stay at a 3-star hotel in Kathmandu.

    Day : Final Departure

    Today is your last day in Kathmandu and you will be heading towards your home country or your planned destination. If you have time, you can do last minutes shopping and buy a token of love, souvenir, and gift for your near ones.
